Macro Trailers is now back on track after a transition period when the business changed owners and moved into larger more efficient premises…..still in Caboolture and still with the team of experienced and skilled workers.
The new owner, James McKean, a Sunshine Coast Chartered Accountant and businessman and the new Manager Keith Mulholland, from a management and automotive engineering background, are determined and dedicated to continuing Macro’s 26 year history of excellence and customer service.
The reputation of the brand has stood the test of those 26 years . Nearly half of Macro’s sales in recent years has been to previous Macro owners ….upgrading or downsizing or just adding another.
At Macro we understand the value of all those 26 years of experience in crafting our products…..our designs are copyrighted…..but it is our workmanship and refusal to compromise quality that is our Trademark. We hear it every day from happy Macro owners!!!!
MACRO was started in 1980 by
Merv Crotty, himself a horseman, horse judge and
an engineer. His decision to enter horse float
manufacturing was made to provide safe, quality
trailers suitable for harsh extreme conditions
throughout Australia.
MACRO quickly
became one of the most respected names in the horse
float industry and is the only Horse Float manufacturer
to be awarded the “Design Council Selection” award
from the Industrial Design Council of Australia.
MACRO has
a large range of products with trailers from
2 Horse straight loads up to 48ft, 22
Horse Teamster Goosenecks.
MACRO is expanding with
many new features being added to each of
the trailers. To give your horses the ultimate
ride, Air Bag suspension is available as
an option on Drover and Overlander
Goosenecks.
On the inside, DVD players and
water tank level indicators along with
smoke detectors
and fire extinguishers, are now standard
in all fit outs. We currently have new
models under development and planned for
release
later in the year. |

At MACRO we

design is discussed with the end user to accommodate
their individual requirements. Our products are
wholly manufactured "in house" where
we control the quality from concept through to
completion.
MACRO has been delivering excellence

men or dealers,
you deal directly with the manufacturer in specifying
the design through to construction, delivery and
after sales service.

and selected overseas locations.
